A Big Job involves a group of Characters doing a number of related Jobs, and then combining them into a single Big Job Template, and posting that on the Official Timeline.

A Big Job has two components:

Side Job
Group Job

Side Jobs are smaller related Jobs that either prepare for, or deal with the aftermath of the Group Job.

Group Job is where multiple Characters must perform the primary component of the Big Job together in-game.

Lets take for example a Heist. Side Jobs will be things such as Scouting the location, preparing getaway vehicles, storage, alibis, weapons etc. Its up to the Character who puts it together to make sure that it makes sense. The Group Job component of a Heist Big Job, would be the heist it self, in which there are minimum requirements, primarily the number of Characters performing it. Both the Side Jobs and the Group Job would then be made into individual Image Journals or Videos, and then using the relevant Big Job Template below, would be posted onto the Official Timeline.

There are no Turf, Backroom or Character Bonuses for Big Jobs.

Types of Big Jobs:

Quick Deal
Heist
Large Drug Operation
User Created Big Job

Quick Deal:

Overview:
Two Groups of Characters agree to make a Quick Deal, It is often drugs, but can also be other valuable items. One Party is the Buyers and the other is the Sellers. They are both essentially middlemen, with one procuring a finished made product, and the other receiving that product and wholesaling it on to another NPC group/ or Backroom Business(es). The Two groups must meet in-game at the same time, to perform the Group Job component of the Big Job. They must exchange items to make the Deal, and then everyone must leave.

MINIMUM Requirements:

The Sellers must have TWO or more Characters in the Group Job.
The Buyers must have TWO or more Characters in the Group Job.
One Criminal Group, such as a Mafia or Crew, cannot have members on both the Buyers and Sellers Side. (It could be any other combination of Characters, such as 1 guys from a Gang and one lone Criminal selling to 3 guys from a MC etc)

A Deal will currently earn this number of Points total: 70

Note: In the Group Job, there needs to be a visual representation of the transfer of goods to make the deal. Here are a number of ways of doing this, which way you do it should be discussed before hand with both parties agreeing to the method:

Gas Container or Parachute drop off. The Sellers exit their vehicles and walk over and drop their item on the ground, or put them in the back of a Buyers car, or the Buyers come over and pick them up, and put them in their vehicles.

Ideally, both would occur, ie the Buyers would drop off the Parachutes with the money, and the Sellers would then drop off the canisters with the product.

Vehicle swap. Perhaps the valuable items are in the boot of a vehicle. It could be swapped over during the meet perhaps for another vehicle with the money, or for parachutes etc.

Its up to the imagination of the Big Job creator to come up with a realistic and exciting method of swapping money for valuable items. However, both Parties must be in the same location and make the Deal 'face to face'.

The Side Jobs for a Deal should provide the backstory of the Items, and show what is being done with them after the Group Deal.
Each side will have to do one Side Job.

Sellers - Before they can sell the valuables to the Buyers, they need to do a Side Job showing them getting them. Or in the case of Meth, making it.

Buyers - After they have bought them from the Sellers, they need to do a Side Job showing them storing or selling the valuables wholesale.

Once they are done in that order, they can be collected and posted.

Copy and paste this template in the Official Timeline, once all components of the Job are complete:

Below is a video which will give you an insight into how a Deal can go down.

Heist:

Overview:
A Group of Characters get together to plan out and perform a Heist, such as robbing a Bank, Train or Art Gallery. A number of Side Jobs must be conducted first, and then the Group must perform the Heist together in-game at the end. The Heist it self must show the valuables being stolen, and then safely taken to a predefined hiding place and stored. No Police (or even NPC's) should be able to see where the Valuables are taken.

MINIMUM Requirements:

The Heist Group Job must be committed by 4 or more Characters, in-game at the same time.
The Characters don't have to be from a Criminal Group. Any Combination of Characters is fine.

A Heist will currently earn this number of Points total: 70

Note. In the Group Job, there needs to be a visual representation of the transfer of goods to make the Heist. Here are a number of ways of doing this, which way you do it should be discussed before hand, with the Characters involved agreeing to the method:

Gas Cannister or Parachute. A Character could run to a Vault, equip a parachute backpack or a cannister, then run to the getaway van and remove it (as if putting it in the van). and repeat this a few times. This will show that items of value are being taken from the location of the Heist into the possession of the Criminals.

Vehicles. Perhaps the heist involves the stealing of vehicles (that may or may not contain valuables inside them) such as a truck carrying drugs for a NPC group, or an armored Truck etc.

Its up to the imagination of the Big Job creator to come up with a realistic and exciting target and method of stealing it. Put some thought into it. What disguises will you wear, like helmets or masks etc.

Although not a requirement, it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for there to be as little shooting, particularly with Police, as possible. Having this as the aim will truly increase the enjoyment for the other Characters participating, and increase the immersion and realism and adrenalin. If a Cop is shooting at you, only shoot back if your LIFE depends on it. Take all other evasive maneuvers first. Remember its a heist, not an invasion.

The Side Jobs for a Heist should all involve the preparation and planning of the Heist. Jobs like scouting out the location for the Heist, bribing a security guard, Preparing the warehouse to store the goods in, spray painting and re-plating getaway cars etc.

Once the Side Jobs are completed, the Group Job should be completed in-game. Once its all complete, copy and paste this template below in the  Official Timeline.

Large Drug Operation:

Overview:
Two groups of Characters agree to a large drug deal. One party is the Producers, and the other is the Buyers. The Producers will go to San Rico and pay off the Cartel. They will then procure the raw ingredients and establish a makeshift lab and create either Heroin, Coke or Weed. They will then package and smuggle the goods back to San Andreas. Then they will have a Group Job with the Buyers (in-game). The Buyers will then store the product. Drug dealers will then go and pick up small portions of the product and deal it at the street level to the end users.

MINIMUM Requirements:

The Producers must have THREE or more Characters in the Group Job.
The Buyers must have THREE or more Characters in the Group Job.
One Criminal Group, such as a Mafia or Crew, cannot have members on both the Buyers and Sellers Side. (It could be any other combination of Characters, such as 2 guys from a Gang and one lone Criminal selling to 3 guys from a MC etc)
The Buyers cannot be involved with the Production.
The Producers cannot be involved with the Distribution.
No one Character can make more than 100 Points from this Job.

A Deal will currently earn this number of Points total: 520

Roles:

Producers: These RP'ers focus on drug production, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing the final product and selling it to the Buyers. Choose your drug type: Cocaine, Heroin, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine.

Buyers: These RP'ers are responsible for acquiring the drugs from the Producers and distributing them to the end user.

Side Jobs:

1. Paying off the Cartel (Producers):
Arrive in San Rico and negotiate with the Cartel to secure the necessary permissions and protection.

2. Acquiring Raw Materials (Producers):
Locate farmers and growers in San Rico and purchase the raw materials (coca leaves, opium poppies, cannabis plants).

3. Drug Production (Producers):
Set up and oversee a hidden drug lab to process the raw materials into the finished product (cocaine, heroin, marijuana, or methamphetamine).

4. Smuggling and Storage (Producers):
Safely smuggle the drugs back into San Andreas and store them securely in an Investment Property that one of the Producers owns. Make sure that you take all care and effort to not be caught, using bribery, and intelligent methods of packaging, hiding and transporting the product. This is the riskiest moment in the operation.

5. Big Deal (Producers & Buyers):
Producers meet with Buyers for a significant drug exchange. Money and goods change hands. Minimum 3 on each side of the deal. (use Parachutes/Gas Cannisters/Vehicles to symbolize the exchange). Minimum Character Requirements:
Producers: 3
Buyers: 3

6. Warehouse Storage (Buyers):
Securely store the purchased drugs in an Investment Property that one of the Buyers owns. The Dealers will pick up the product from this location.

7. Distribution (Buyers):
Pick up a small amount of the Product, and sell it directly to your customers/NPC's.

REPEAT JOB 7 TILL YOU HAVE 20 OF THEM.

Note to the Dealers: You might sell it individually to a number of NPC’s using the original 'Bro Love bump and see' method, or you might sell it to a few backroom Businesses that would plausibly purchase drugs from you, such as Drug Dens, or Bordello’s etc. Of you might sell it to a few Gangsters from the Ballas or the Vagos and he will on-sell it to his friends. Your job is, essentially, to get the product out to the people who use it)

User Made Jobs:

You understand how Jobs work. You understand how Big Jobs work. You might be ready to put together your own Big Job. There are several restrictions and requirements in Place, so read it carefully and understand what you are doing before embarking on making one.

A Big Job you create has to make money. You cant just make a big Job about developing your volleyball skills.

It will need to be realistic and plausible.

It cant be ultra violent, resulting in tens of deaths etc. No more than 5 people/NPC’s should die in your Big Job at MAX. Ideally, none will.

You will have minimum requirements of other Characters involved.

There must be a Group Job component.

How to Make your own Big Job:

Come up with an idea:

Be creative, here are a few ideas to get you thinking:

  • You could come up with some scam, and pull it off.
  • You could take over an NPC fictional Groups Turf in a series of connected jobs. (Not Vagos/Ballas/Davis Gang)
  • You could produce an item of value and find a buyer.
  • You could take a business man hostage and negotiate for a ransom.
  • You could put out a list of photos of NPC’s who owe your Loan Sharking Backroom Business Money, and have other Characters go searching for them, collect the money and send you the Journals.
  • You could put out a list of photos of NPC business fronts, and have Characters go and extort them and send you the journals.
  • You could put together a fight night, and the Group Job could be having actual Bouts between Characters in a dodgy abandoned warehouse. You could have people involved betting on who will win, and they could receive a higher amount of the Points from the Big Job.
  • You could do a Money Laundering scheme where you have Investment Property owners submit journals of them bringing Cash from their Backrooms to your location, where you then set about having it cleaned through a Shell Corp.
  • You could come up with an interesting Racket whereby you combine a number of Characters Backrooms in a way where they work. Such as Taking Some Drugs from a Drug Den and supplying Bordellos, and street Prostitutes. and then Dropping off some Prostitutes at a Large Residence for some VIP Party.
  • There are so many creative ways you could come up with Big Jobs that others will want to be a part of. Realism and plausibility is your only limit.

Once you have got your idea. You will need to fit it into the Rules below and alter the Template to fit the Job.

Rules:

  • The Big Job will have a set Points Value, there are no Backroom, Turf or Character Bonuses.
  • You can choose how many (side and Group) Jobs are in your Big Job, between 8-15.
  • For each job included in your Big Job, add 20 Points to the Points Value of your big Job. So If you have 10 Jobs, the Big Job will have a value of 200 Points.
  • You must have at least 1 Group Job containing at minimum, 6 Characters total, all online and in-game at the same time.
  • You must have at least 4 Characters submit a Journal that is included in your Big Job. (so you cant just do all the journals your self)
  • If you are the organiser of the Big Job, you can at max include 5 Journals, the rest need to be done by other Characters. You are the organiser of the Job, and will need to get others to contribute.
  • No one Character can make more than 100 Points from this Job.
  • You will be the one who puts it all together and publishes it on the Official Timeline using the Template Below.
  • If there are various Groups involved, such as Buyers and Sellers. Characters cannot be in multiple Groups.

Determine each Job you will need to complete the Big Job. For example, if it’s a Fight Night. Perhaps your first few Journals are involving scouting out a location, recruiting fighters. Then maybe a Character who will compete sends you a journal of him training for the fight, another of someone going to some Ballas and taking bets etc. And it could culminate in the Group Job which would be the actual Fight Night. Which would be a journal or video showing the fights and who won etc.
Put these various steps into individual and specific Side Jobs and Group Jobs descriptions. Its then your job to speak with other Characters and get them to perform the Job and send you the Journals.
